
Dr Moeketsi Elliot Khabisi's private practice is based at Akeso Clinic in Alberton, Gauteng.
He completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB) at the University of Free State before obtaining a Fellowship Of The College Of Psychiatrists of South Africa at the College Of Medicine of South Africa. Dr Khabisi completed an MMED in Psychiatry at the University of Witwatersrand.
He began his career as a medical intern at the Department of Health via the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, before completing his community service in the Johannesburg Metro. Dr Khabisi also enrolled as a training Psychiatrist at Wits University. He is currently working as a Specialist Psychiatrist in both the public and Private sectors, serving the Alberton and surrounding communities in Gauteng.
Dr Khabisi provides Psychiatry services for both adolescents and adults. He is committed to providing holistic care to individuals and their families, with the aim of healing and enhancing their lives. His particular interests include Depression and Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse and Related Psychiatric Illness, Dementia and Personality Disorders.
Dr Khabisi strongly believes in collaborating very closely with patients in every part of the treatment process. He aims to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic environment to assist patients with their current difficulties.
